Thanks for all the great responses to the last two chapters. I’m glad that everyone is as happy as I am to have this story back. I’m still working on finishing the last few chapters — with any luck, I’ll be able to finish it up this week and we’ll be on schedule to keep posting two chapters a week.

Another good new chapter. Thanks. I’m so glad you’re rewriting and finishing this story.
While I was reading, I realized what bothered me most during this era of GH and most of the fics that came from that time is that Elizabeth was the only person who was expected to act like a responsible adult and that went on for years.
Luke and Laura only cared about Lucky and didn’t give a second thought to the damage they were inflicting on anyone else. It was okay for Nik to be a control freak. Carly was her usual mean-mouth sniping ass self, Gia certainly didn’t tell Elizabeth out of the goodness of her heart because her goal was to inflict as much damage as possible. (Gia was Carly if Carly with a brain.) Sarah could screw whomever she pleased whenever she pleased. No problems for her.
As for Lucky, he always got a pass, no matter what he did or how he acted. Nothing was ever his responsibility or his fault, even when his own parents couldn’t stand to be around him because of the way he acted. It was a shame that sweet boy grew up to be a nasty manipulative adolescent walking around in the body of a man.
I like that you don’t seem to have bought into that concept, and maybe your version of Jason can convince your version of Elizabeth that she isn’t responsible for the bad behavior of everyone around her. Thanks.
I want to say that I haven’t been commenting because I have no idea if you even read these comments.
I definitely read all my comments 🙂 Thanks so much! I’m really enjoying writing this period because it gives me such a clean slate. I don’t have to fix so much, haha.
I bet that’s easier. GH used to be fun to watch, so I’m sure it’s more fun to write about that time when the writing was so much more cohesive and moved along in a normal direction.
