Your Update Link: An Everlasting Love – Part 11
Hey! So I started working on fixing links and images today. I didn’t get as far as I wanted to because I had to restart my computer. So far the In Progress and Alternate History pages are done. I’ll try to finish all the story pages tomorrow.
In other news – up until now, the Flash Fiction feature has been a site exclusive. I’d planned to revise the stories and distributed the finish products. Over the weekend, Laurie from Liasonites Gathering reached out to ask me if I’d be interested in posting daily flash fiction on their message board. I was ridiculously excited to be asked (I’ve missed posting on message boards). My normal stories aren’t very message board friendly because I use bold and italtics that take forever to format, but since flash fiction is unedited, I can post them with only one extra step.
So please check out the message board, Liasonites Gathering, join, and get to your 25 posts to enjoy the new sub forum: LissieLove’s Flash Fiction

Hi – It’s been ages since I’ve been able to post but I have been checking in and thrilled to eek out a few minutes to read here and there. I’m all caught up now. And, as usual, I love, love, love what you are writing. I’m also thrilled to see your tweet confirming Cameron Lewis is Cam’s father in Everlasting Love. I couldn’t figure out what was prompting people to conclude otherwise as nothing about the time period or nature of relationship described between Jason and Elizabeth before he left suggested to me there was a chance. I’m also pretty confident the ages didn’t match up but I thought I was the one missing something when I saw all the comments suggesting otherwise.
So sorry to hear you didn’t get the teaching jobs. I’m sure you will be able to cobble together lots of virtual tutoring sessions if you end up substitute teaching only. I can’t imagine that people aren’t going to be supplementing whether schools are in hybrid or full-distance mode. I certainly hope very few will be returning full-on, though I think I just read that’s Orange County’s plan. Ridiculous. Stay safe, stay healthy. And, remember – you might be able to cobble together a seriously good living just through online tutoring if you reach out to districts that are not returning to classrooms. I already know plenty of parents who are looking for help in CA.
Anyway, I love all of the new flash fiction stories. And, will try to respond more frequently. Life is just a little extra crazy on my end because we’re relocating in the middle of a pandemic on short notice for a new job.
